Liz Lara-Carreño

Liz Lara-Carreño currently serves as President and Partner at Carrenogroup a Latino owned Public Affairs firm.  Liz joined the firm in 2008 with a focus on Strategic Planning and developing Creative Concepts for large scale initiatives.    Liz has worked with Individuals in a coaching capacity and with small companies implementing best practices for their operations and leading their teams to success.   Liz has combined her knowledge of Social Marketing and Branding with the customer experience in the forefront.

Liz retired in 2007 with 21 years of service from Continental Airlines as Manager of Organizational Development in the Corporate HR Center of Excellence.    Liz  has traveled to more then 21 countries and has trained to a global audience in  leadership & management programs, launching  product, service programs or policy initiatives.  Her experience in the design, development and delivery of products in instructor led and web base products allows her to tailor products to clients current needs.

Liz uses her extensive background in the essentials of HR, Recruiting and Interviewing with Conflict Resolution and Diversity Solutions.   Liz has numerous certifications that include John Maxwell Leadership program, Covey Time Management & Project Management, Myers Briggs and numerous leadership and customer service training programs.

Liz’s past career includes; Toyomenka America Inc., a  Japanese Trading Company, Racal Decca Survey Inc., a British based Hydro-graphic Seismic, and as a purchasing agent for Global Marine Drilling and Dolphin Titan International.

Liz is a former 2 term Democratic National Committee member for the State of Texas, Precinct Judge and Delegate to numerous National Conventions.  Her love for party politics and educating people on the issues led to extensive experience in grass root campaigns, organizing volunteers and as a former candidate for the Houston City Council.

Liz is a native Houstonian  and has combined her BS Degree, with numerous certifications, corporate and non-profit experience to assist clients achieve results with tailored solutions.
