Lillie Lopez

Ms. Lopez was one of the original team members with the firm when it opened its doors in Houston.  Lillie has over fourteen years experience in media relations, special event planning, fund raising, media buying, grassroots marketing, political campaigning, and public relations.

Her diverse background includes sixteen years experience in Texas political organizing and extensive campaign involvement.  She has been involved in many political organizations across Texas.  Lillie’s political experiences have given her the necessary tools to effectively and efficiently manage all types of grassroots and community oriented marketing plans.

She has also been involve in planned special event ranging from small corporate gatherings to concerts for client (Miller Brewing), on-site promotion events (Cacique Cheese & Houston Chronicle), Catalina Magazine’s annual Essence of Latinas National Tour, sponsored by Wal-mart and Colgate-Palmolive and an event at The White House with National Latina Leaders organization.

Prior to re-joining carreñogroup, Ms. Lopez was the Director of Marketing/Community & Governmental Affairs, for MetroBank.  MetroBank is the largest multi-ethnic bank in Texas.  During her tenure, with MetroBank, she has been responsible for managing all marketing efforts to the Hispanic and Asian communities, creating marketing campaigns in forty different languages.

As a former City Council assistant , she has worked and developed numerous relationships with  community non profits, chamber organizations and women’s groups, including being a life time member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (Corral Club- A&R Committee).

Lillie is also president of Lopez Events, a special events marketing company that is associated with the carreñogroup.
